1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Promptalyst (the “Service”), operated by Promptalyst (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Promptalyst is a private prompt-library platform that lets you save, organise, version, share, run, and sell AI prompts. Features and plan limits are described on our site and may change over time as the Service evolves.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, and have authority to bind any organisation you register on behalf of.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; no attempts to breach security, rate limits, or other users’ data; no reselling access except through features we provide. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the prompts and content you create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service. When you run a prompt, its filled text is sent to the AI provider you have configured (see our Privacy Policy).
6. Marketplace and payments
The marketplace lets you publish prompts for other users to add to their own libraries. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of anything you list, and you confirm you have the right to share it. Adding a listed prompt gives you your own copy to use and edit.
Paid listings are not currently available. If we introduce them, we will publish the applicable fees and payout terms before you can list a prompt for sale, and listing one will be optional.
7. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Plan limits are enforced as described on our pricing page. Prices are shown before you confirm a purchase, and we will give notice before any change to the price of an existing subscription.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles billing, payment, and related customer enquiries. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate partial periods.
Refunds: if you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it in full. After that window, payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where the Service has failed materially. Refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our branding except as needed to use the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates third parties including AI model providers you choose to connect, Paddle (payments and billing), Supabase (authentication and data), and Resend (email). Your use of those features is also subject to the respective providers’ terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI output may be inaccurate or unsuitable; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
